Do you Knit, Quilt, sew.... Can you make a simple lap blanket or shawl?
This is a (forgive the pun) a loose knit ministry of individuals who make Prayer Shawls which we then bless. They do not know who will receive the shawl while making it but none the less offer up prayers for the recipient while working on the shawl.
The shawl is given to a sick, homebound or hospitalized member of the parish community as a sign of our prayers and support wrapped around them like a blanket. They are appreciated beyond your belief.
